Refund Policy
1. The Golden Rule: Escrow Payment
For everyone's security, U Mall holds the buyer's money as soon as the order is placed. The seller only receives their funds 72 hours after delivery is confirmed. This delay is your guarantee of security.
2. Claim Deadline: 72 Hours
The buyer has a maximum of 72 hours after receipt to report a dispute.
If you report a problem within this timeframe: The seller's payment is immediately suspended by our administrators until the issue is resolved.
If you do not say anything after 72 hours: The sale is closed, the money is released to the seller, and no further refunds are possible.
3. Zero Tolerance for Sellers
U Mall is not a place for scams. A refund is automatically issued if:
Non-conformity: The product received is not the one in the photo (e.g., wrong color, worn condition when described as new).
Defective product: The item does not work (electronics, accessories, etc.).
Failure to deliver: If the seller does not deliver within the agreed timeframe.
⚠️ Warning to shops: Any attempt at fraud or sale of counterfeit products will result in the immediate and permanent removal of the shop from U Mall, without notice, and the freezing of funds to compensate the victims.
4. "No Messing" Refund Process
Reporting: Click on "Report a problem" in your order history.
Proof: Send a clear photo of the defect via the application.
Arbitration: U Mall decides within 24 hours.
Return: If the dispute is validated, the buyer returns the product to the "U Mall Relay Point" on campus.
Cashback: The refund is returned to your Mobile Money account as soon as our agents receive the item.
